On January 18, 2023, CareGo Health Suite was proud to participate in Makesense Academy Batch 5 Demo Day, held at the EY headquarters in BGC. This event marked the culmination of CareGo Health Suite’s incubation journey with Makesense, a global community of social entrepreneurs and innovators that provides mentorship and bootcamps to startups and social enterprises.
At the demo day, the incubatees had the opportunity to showcase the progress they have made over the past few months, thanks to the support of Makesense and Ernst & Young. The Academy Batch 5 includes three alumni startups Sinaya Cup, Everything Green, and CP Health Innovations, Inc. (CareGo Health Suite), and two idea-stage startups namely, Green by Design, and Kakawani.
As incubatees, we received invaluable guidance and resources that helped us refine our business model, develop our product, and grow our network. We also had the chance to learn from other startups and mentors in the program, which allowed us to expand our perspective and approach in growing our startup.
During the demo day, we presented our learnings and achievements for 6 months to a panel of investors, industry experts, and fellow entrepreneurs. We shared how we’ve been able to leverage the mentorship and resources provided by Makesense and EY to reach key milestones, such as expanding our customer base, refining our product features, and increasing our revenue. We also discussed our future plans and how we aim to continue growing and innovating to make Philippine healthcare a model in Southeast Asia.
Overall, the demo day was a great opportunity for us to showcase our progress and connect with like-minded individuals in the startup ecosystem. We are grateful for the support of Makesense and EY, and we look forward to continuing our partnership with them as we work towards making a positive impact in the healthcare industry.
