CPHI partners with Sogod RHU and Maasin CHO I for TB ACF

In a significant step towards ending Tuberculosis (TB), CP Health Innovations (CPHI) has joined forces with the Sogod Rural Health Unit (RHU) and Maasin City Health Office I (CHO) to implement a Tuberculosis Active Case Finding (TB ACF) program.

This collaborative effort aims to enhance TB detection and treatment in the respective regions by actively seeking out individuals who may be infected but have not yet been diagnosed. By partnering with local health units in Sogod and Maasin City, CPHI aims to broaden the reach of TB screening and ensure early intervention for those at risk using CareGo Health Suite’s TB App. CareGo Health Suite automates the follow-up reminders for patients in their x-ray results and sputum testing schedules.
TB remains a global health concern, and initiatives like TB ACF play a crucial role in identifying cases promptly, thus preventing the spread of the disease. Through this partnership, the combined resources and expertise of CPHI, Sogod RHU, and Maasin CHO will contribute to more effective TB control measures and improved health outcomes for the communities involved. This collaboration is made possible by our partnership with International Care Ministries (ICM) under the TB ACF program of DOH and PBSP.
The collaborative effort underscores the importance of inter-agency cooperation in addressing public health challenges. By pooling resources, sharing knowledge, and leveraging the strengths of each partner, Southern Leyte is taking a proactive approach to tackle TB head-on and work towards a healthier future for its residents.
