CPHI Supports Davao Center for Health Development in Region-Wide Health Facility Assessments

From October 22 to 24, 2024, CP Health Innovations (CPHI) played a crucial role in assisting the Davao CHD team with the preparation of 1,192 field assessors and 60 validators for more than 2,000 health facilities for their scheduled training and on-site implementation. This effort involved coordinating with the Davao ICT team on the setup of user accounts for both assessors and validators, as well as ensuring that tablet preparations were up to standard for the training.
Training and Technical Support
As part of the training for the assessors and validators, CPHI provided in-depth guidance on using the FRESAA tool, server setup, and best practices for system functionalities for the field assessors, validators, and the ICT team.
Technical Support During the Region-Wide Assessment
Once the assessment began, CPHI’s role expanded to include troubleshooting technical issues. CPHI developed a new version of the FRESAA mobile app that optimized tablet storage, thus resolving the issue and ensuring the tablets could handle the increased volume of data.
Supporting the Davao ICT Team
Throughout the training and assessment, CPHI provided continuous support by:
- Assisting in server setup and application functionality walkthroughs
- Preparing and creating user accounts for field assessors and validators
- Uploading facilities and setting up facility groups for the assessment
- Providing training materials and user guides for the FRESAA system
- Offering technical troubleshooting support during the region-wide assessment
This collaborative effort allowed the Davao ICT team to successfully conduct the region-wide assessment, despite the challenges faced along the way. Moving forward, the Davao team will focus on aligning the indicators and improving the FRESAA tool based on the findings from this region-wide assessment.
